„International Fine Art Cannes Biennial“ in Cannes

Exhibition/ MAMAG Modern Art Museum in castle Hubertendorf presented 45 international artists in Cannes during the film festival in Cannes.

Blindenmarkt / Cannes. MAMAG Modern Art Museum in Hubertendorf Castle organized from 18 to 20 May 2016 "International Fine Art Cannes Biennial" in the famous JW Marriott Hotel on the famous Boulevard de la Croisette during the Film Festival in Cannes. The International Film Festival in Cannes among the world's most important film festivals. A great importance in the art world also has International Fine Art Cannes Biennial, organized by MAMAG Modern Art Museum and just meters from the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès held away.

A total of 45 artists presented the curator of the Modern Art Museum MAMAG Heinz Playner in Cannes. "Over a period of an entire year the artists were selected for the Biennial in Cannes. Curated were also artworks which were shown at the Biennale. From several thousands applications, we have selected and presented 45 artists to a relevant audience in Cannes "- says the curator of the MAMAG Modern Art Museum Heinz Playner.

Many artists were present in person at the opening event on 18 may 2016. Some of them have been awarded with the "International Fine Art Cannes Prize" of MAMAG Modern Art Museum. Artists from Brazil Arao Pinto, Swiss artist Franz Bucher and Serge Gauya received their prize in person.

Many visitors of the Cannes Film Festival admired art of talented artists from around the world. During numerous meetings with selected guests from high society, the Pop Art artist Tanja Playner, artist Bino from Sweden and Swiss artist Franz Bucher met with the Italian actress and film awards winner Antonella Salvucci.
